Heres how to close it:
-Find the topic you want to close
-Post underneath it saying that it is CLOSED! ("This topic is now CLOSED! Please, no more posting after this post! -reason topic was closed-")
-Post why the topic was closed. We want to make sure everyone has a nice description to why it was closed, to avoid large "flames"
-(To members) if you dont understand why your topic was closed, Feel free to PM an Admin. Just be polite. We will be more than happy to explain WHY we closed it. Sometimes, it is a mistake. PG-13 is a shakey rule to follow, so somtimes it is as simple as fixing one word!
-(To members) IF you post under the CLOSED topic, it will be deleted/marked as spam. If you ACCIDENTALLY post (because, maybe you didnt see it was closed), post UNDER it saying the last post was an accident, and we will delete them both. No harm done, accidents happen ^.^
-(To members) If YOU want your topic closed, post underneath your topic requestiong it to be closed. OR, PM and admin to close it.

i added a new catergory. it is The Conference Room. i added this room so the admins could openly discuss things and anyone could view what we were discussing.

. also going to add a "suggestions" catergory so members can suggest things for the forum, like, RP rooms, add/delete catergories, stuff like that.. But this wont be coming until there are at least 10 members. right now, PM me if you have any suggestions ^.^

Ginthefallenstar was an accidental account. Gin doesn't know how the account was created. but there is no way to delete it, so we just have to live with it.

(Found under the help forum, searched How To Delete A Member. Written by Cheif:) This is a question we get frequently, and we've answered it across the forum in multiple places. Most of the time, it's just an admin wanting to know where that feature is - they don't actually need to ban a member though. The first thing we want people to be aware of is that you can't 'delete' a member because a member account on lefora exists across all of lefora. For 'public' forums - which we strongly encourage on lefora - it can be a complicated situation to 'ban' a member, as they can… (that was as far as the post went.)

Here on Spotted hyena Forums, i find it important that you at least know something about spotted hyena's! Instead of making a new catergory, I decided to post here saying things like, what this forum is about, why i made it, and stuff like that! info on the spotted hyena (and pics!) are going here too.
Why i made this forum: I would have made a chat site, but that costs money, which I don't have. So I made a forum where you can pretend to be a hyena in different enviroments. Ive made two enviroments (in Role Play.) but I would like to see enviroments other people work on. I'm currently tinkering with the rules so people can make their own enviroments that OTHER people can base their characters life on. Role playing is very fun, so I hope you all try it. I also made this forum to show people the real beauty of the hyena. (would you believe there are hardly any pics of one on Tinypic.com?)

Pics and facts:
The Spotted Hyena, or Laughing Hyena, (Crocuta crocuta) is a carnivorous mammal of the family hyaenidae. It is the largest of the hyenas, and is native to sub-Saharan Africa, save for the Congo basin. It occurs in many different habitats, from extremely hot and arid lowland areas in is northern and southern ranges, to cold, mountainous terrains in East Africa and Ethiopia. The species can also survive near human habitations.

The species is best known for one of its vocalisations, which resembles the sound of hysterical human laughter. Though often labeled incorrectly as a scavenger, the spotted hyena is actually a powerful hunter, the majority of its nourishment being derived from live prey. The zoo. Medal bars with vines wrapped around them surround your rather large enviroment. Meat is slid in a slot and served to you two times a day. Yum. but everyday, you look out those bars into the real world. What is your life like in the zoo, or what was it like?

this is a rather sad topic, but sometimes you just need to get it out and feel sympathy. the only rules are: no faking a death. it hurts feelings and makes people feel bad. dont laugh at other peoples deaths. just because they wern't nice to you doesn't mean you can laugh at them.
be polite. you might not of known the person who died, but be sympathetic.
